Mission and Vision
  • Leadership

Being open and honest while remaining positive to inspire others to also be leaders earns trust from others. Respect is earned; while the confidence expands as the young students learn taking responsibility for consequences of the decisions you act upon makes you a leader.

  • Academics

Our young men are responsible for showing progress reports, maintaining the best grades possible while getting help from a tutor when needed.

  • Life-Skills

    Life Skills

We guide our young men in the right direction when dealing with personal conflicts, issues related to school, and any other issues that can endanger our young African American men.

  • Commitment

As future leaders, the young men of Theta Omega Inc. Men of Quality Leadership Academy show their commitment by abiding by our student contract. It contains a list of rules that will get them outside of their comfort zones so they can have what it takes to succeed in the real world.

  • Respect-and-value-others

    Respect and value others

We are all equal. No one is better than anybody. We have high standards in all of our men from demonstrating fairness and honesty in our actions.

  • Innovation

Our team is built on creativity. We don’t only want our young men to think outside of the box; they should enhance their overall mindset so that outside-the-box thinking can show what they are capable of becoming.

Our Program

Mentor Protégé

Our students team up with mentors who have careers that they want to pursue. The mentees will be able to build and learn from our mentors on a more intense level. Therefore, we pair our mentees with mentors with goals and career aspirations and match them accordingly so that they will get a real understanding of the path that they should follow.

Developing Leaders

We create leadership development activities and scenarios that our future leaders could face in the real world and so we have a better understanding of how much reinforcement one needs. The development process also includes mentoring, management, assignments and coaching. The main goal is to have everyone carry themselves as leaders of the future.

Community Outreach

We actively engage in outreach services; by providing services and information we let the community know what it is that we have to offer to our youth. We engage in our community by attending events, passing out brochures, word of mouth, etc.

Tutoring is provided to everyone regardless of grades. We are open to accept new tutors if you’re willing to become a partner with Theta Omega Inc. Men Of Quality.

Education and Career Readiness

Not only do we teach our young men how to become leaders and valuable citizens, throughout their time in the academy we also give them the tools that they need in order to become leaders in the workplace and prep for college. We show them the ins-and-outs oh what needs to be done to excel in college and the work environment.

Student Activities

Throughout the course of the Men of Quality mentoring program we get the mentors and mentees together to perform fun, social and development activities such as, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Group Activities—Bowling, Pizza Putt, etc., Workshops—Study Skills, Careers, etc., and Performing Arts Events to name a few.
